Book this: Festival No 6 at Tate
Fancy zipping up to London for a little cultural soiree do we? If so, here’s an idea from Catherine, the switched on editor of the brand new Muddy Warwickshire. North Wales’ fab award-winning Festival No 6 at TATE is going south-side for an afterhours collaboration with TATE Britain at the David Hockney Retrospective (the gallery’s fastest selling exhibition ever FYI). Here’s what you need to know….
Drinks and food experiences will be themed by the Yorkshire artist’s life: either a 2-course dinner Yorkshire rare breed meats matched with Californian wines or a Californian Wine Tasting. Tickets include afterhours access to Paul Nash and the Hockney Exhibition, 7.30 – 11.55pm. More than 20,000 tickets have already sold for the show, which opened on Feb 9 and is the fastest selling in Tate’s history.
The relatively young Festival No 6 is normally held in the beautifully surreal Italianate village of Portmeirion on the North Wales coast in September (7-10 in 2017).
