Seen this? Murder at Ridgeview (sort of…)

Have you seen this unusual new promotional mini movie teaming Sussex talent?

It’s a collaboration between Muddy award winner Ridgeview Estate at Ditchling and Gresham Blake tailors’ Brighton branch (which incidentally created the suit Sussex’s Rag’n’Bone Man was wearing when he recently triumphed at the Brits.)

It stars gravel-voiced Ray Winstone – best known for playing gangster types, and it was penned by famous crime writer and Brighton resident Peter James (who also has a cameo).

It’s all very stylised, with actors whipping through costume changes and creating arty tableaux. The script is tongue-in-cheek fun with Winstone acting as narrator. Oh, and no need to break out the popcorn, it’s only a couple of minutes long.

See what you think. It’s certainly novel.
