Last few places
More dates have been released for the Santa Specials departing Sheffield Park or East Grinstead stations but hurry there are very few remaining seats and your party may not be able to sit together. The train ride is coupled with a Victorian fairground at Horsted Park station, an elf house, Santa selfie opportunities and a reindeer paddock.
There are a few places still available for the Festive Feasts departing East Grinstead on the 3 and 4 of Dec which pair a return journey to Sheffield Park with a Christmas lunch in the Bessemer Arms there.
Fancy Christmas Dinner on the Golden Arrow? Three courses will be served in the luxury Pullman carriages aboard this special train. At last time of looking there were tables available on the 19 and 21 Dec and just one for the New Year’s Eve gala dinner.
Still with availability in the third class carriages is A Horsted Christmas, a new event, taking place on Fri 21 Dec. Hire out a compartment, enjoy a Christmas picnic from a wicker hamper en route, then spend time at Horsted Station meeting Santa and his reindeers, taking a whirl on the Victorian fairground, watching a puppet show and more. Trains depart Sheffield Park and East Grinstead.
Twixtmas All Day Rover tickets let you take however many spins you like around the vintage line for the day you book, with Boxing Day to New Year’s Day available.
Join the free carol concert at Horsted Keynes station on Sat Dec 1 with music from the Bluebell Railway Band and snacks and mulled wine available.
