The Station Pub, South Nutfield
Muddy says: A large garden, pizza oven and roasts with proper gravy are highlights of this village pub
Situated in the heart of the pretty village of South Nutfield, the Station is a village pub at the heart of the community. The bar is popular with loyal locals, along with visitors from further afield, offering cask ales and a wide selection of wines.
The Station prides itself on its food offering a range of British classics as well as eclectic dishes. All ingredients are freshly prepared daily and cooked using traditional methods. The head chef has over 25 years working as an executive chef in London’s professional kitchens.
On Sundays a traditional roast is on offer, including Yorkshire puddings, roasties and gravy made the traditional way using the juices from the roasting tins (as well as generous amounts of Merlot!)
We also have a wood-fired pizza oven and all pizzas are freshly prepared with home made dough and topped with fresh ingredients.
The garden at the Station is one of the largest pub gardens in the whole of Surrey, with play equipment including a bouncy castle to keep children amused.
Regular live music events features a mix of talented local acts and more established performers, plus there are quiz nights.
