The Lodges at New House Farm

Muddy says: A hot tub with a knockout view, a big communal barn and a choice of luxury lodges make this flexible High Weald country retreat perfect for couples, friends and families.

Situated in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, The Lodges at New House Farm is the perfect luxury rural getaway year-round.

On the border of East Sussex and Kent, you can enjoy those wonderful High Weald views while you’re soaking in the open-air hot tub. You’ll also find a pool, a pretty formal garden and surrounding forest and fields for walking.

The farm’s Garden Lodges, Pool Lodges and Stable Lodges – six in total – all have their own unique rural charm. Each features extra large plush sofas, log burners and Victorian roll top baths. King size-beds with Egyptian cotton sheets, wet rooms, fluffy robes and REN toiletries add to the luxury feel.

In addition, the lovingly restored 300 year old Long Barn is a huge communal space, with games tables, an inglenook open fire, dining tables fit for feasting and an antique spiral staircase leading up to a cozy mezzanine. There’s plenty of room for guests to spread out and relax, meaning your country escape is weather proof!

Guests receive a Sussex trug filled to the brim with local produce on arrival which includes locally baked bread, cheese, butter, homemade cookies, preserves and a selection of local apple juice. You can also request for picnic hampers. If you want to take a break from self-catering, or have a special occasion to celebrate, hire a personal chef for a private dinner or large scale feasting in the long barn using the best local produce.

For an extra bit of indulgence, let a therapist massage away your stresses. One-to-one yoga, personal training and guided bike rides can also be arranged.

Look out for upcoming cookery weekends at the lodges.
