The Organised Home & Life

Muddy says: Let a real-life Dane bring some hygge to your home with her Scandi take on the Japanese Marie Kondo decluttering method

With a background in supporting small business owners, mostly women, Mimi Bogelund understands a thing or two about juggling busy lives. In fact her business The Organised Home & Life was born out of her love of helping people achieve their personal goals.

Working through the KonMari Method ™ created by Japanese woman Marie Kondo gave Mimi great peace of mind and now she shares that de-stressing process with others.

Mimi promises she’s not a minamalist – her own home is a period cottage. Her process is not just about throwing away, it’s about keeping items that ‘add joy’ to your life. As a Dane, she’s all for the ‘hygge’ concept of creating cosiness and wellbeing.

She knows that chaotic lives, downsizing and sentimental attachment to certain possessions can all lead to stress-causing clutter. Together with you she’ll create a plan and tackle it in easy, manageable steps.

Whether you need your wardrobe editing, are preparing your home for sale or downsizing, have mobility issues or you are going through a life change like divorce, the death of a parent or a new job, Mimi can help.

She says: ‘These days, time is a precious commodity – so achieving an organised home and life, in a way that’s effective and long-lasting, creates more time in the long run for enjoying life.’
