Candlelit dinners for charity
Enjoy some special scoffing as part of Shine for Shelterbox
Upgrade your candlelight dinner for two for a candlelit dinner for charity.
Twelve pop-up events are coming to Brighton as part of the Shine for Shelterbox, supporting people made homeless by conflict and natural disaster. The candlelight theme is inspired by the charity’s solar lights that are included in its ShelterBoxes.
So, no need to run 26 miles or shave your head to do your bit. Just enjoy some unforgettable scoffing!
I’ve eaten and drank at several of the places involved and believe me you’re in for a treat.
Highlight events include an evening of organic wines and small plates paired with cocktails from expert mixologists, an African and Guajarati fusion supper club, a Caribbean-inspired feast, a collaboration between chef Michael Bremner and Cin Cin, plus events from start-up business ‘Supper with…’ . Local zero impact brewery, Good Things Brewing Co, is donating beers to each of the events. Some have sold out already so get on it quick.
