Missing the bank holiday? Best look forward to the next ones then! There are two coming up in May, of course, and the second one includes a chance to do some quality scoffing in Hastings.

The town will be hosting the free Sussex Street Food Festival over the bank holiday weekend of Sat 25, Sun 26 and Mon 27 May. That means some of the best foodie treats from across the world from arancini balls to curries will be available in one place from a wide range of stalls on the Stade.

It’s a touring collective of street food experts from across the UK that has been picking up plaudits on its travels, not to mention plenty of foodie fans. Stalls coming this way will be serving up…

Woodfired pizza, waffles, melt in the mouth brownies, banging burgers, Ghanan cuisine, fine Vietnamese pho, Jamaican jerk, Texan barbecue, crispy fried chicken, Burmese bites, mega ice creams, heavenly halloumi, vegan delights, Thai curries, Italian polenta and delicious Spanish churros dipping doughnuts. There will also be a drinks stalls selling expert coffee, cocktails and more.

The Sussex Street Food Festival will be open noon to 10pm each day so that means you can stop by for lunch, dinner, or a treat after an evening out.
