Wouldn’t You Though?

Normally having your kids’ colourful fingerprints up the wall would be a source of frustration but looky here at this fresh idea for a family portrait. Forget trying to get everyone smiling at the same time in a formal photo and go for something really contemporary –  fingerprint art!

These pieces certainly have the wow factor. They’re the work of graphic designer Jacque Bunton and she’ll make them up for you wherever you are.

They’re great for personalised gifts and the art is totally unique  – no two pieces are the same.

I love this big print with a touch of Andy Warhol about it….

Jacque can also create handprints, paw prints, profiles…. and can you work out what these are?

Profile prints on canvas

There’s a wide range of options that will suit most budgets and you can have  your images etched in glass or printed on canvas or  perspex. Prices start at £35 for a profile print on canvas, then vary depending on what you want done and how big you want it.

New parents can capture their baby’s hands, feet and fingers, newlyweds can etch their fingerprints in glass and just about anyone can have fun with the designs.

Jacque is Surrey-based but if you don’t want to travel to her studio she’ll send you a fingerprint kit in the post – her clients come from as far away as New Zealand.
