Bespoke furniture by Nafisi
Muddy says: Truly one-off furniture for your home or business from a talented Sussex designer-maker
The multi-talented Abdollah Nafisi can turn his hand to bespoke furniture design, photography and music! Creating beautiful pieces of furniture is his main passion however and after moving from Iran to the UK in 2011 he set up his new workshop on a farm in Horsham, producing bespoke, commissioned pieces for clients in the South East of England and beyond.
Whether you are looking for a small, one-off piece of custom made-furniture such as a kitchen cabinet, a bookcase, a made-to-measure wardrobe, or for a range of hand-made items for the home or your business, Abi would love to discuss your requirements.
Some of his past commissions have included a coffee table with hidden storage, a range of kitchen cabinets and a bookcase to fit an awkward fireplace nook, and, for businesses, tables for a Levi’s store in Tehran and for Zushi Bar sushi restaurant in Brighton.
Abi specialises in traditional joinery techniques, using neat wooden joints rather than metal where possible. He also incorporates design details from around the world including Japanese joinery and special internationally inspired motifs and he tries to be environmentally conscious in his work.
