Muddy says: The new venture from the founder of Orelia Jewellery brings colourful festival-style bracelets to the UK, while empowering craftswomen in Mexico

A chance encounter when she was shopping for souvenirs in Tulum, Mexico led to Louisa Hirst bringing a whole a range of colourful Colors X Good bracelets to the UK and spreading their message of empowerment.
The Sussex-based founder of Orelia Jewellery was moved by the story behind the Colors X Good enterprise. Through the scheme Mexican women who were traditionally unemployed and under educated in their community are now earning a good wage and gaining greater social standing.
After a couple of years of personal upheaval in her own life, Louisa wanted to do something with a positive social impact. She is now, through Loula Social, the sole UK distributor for Colors X Good.
The adjustable bands, available in a wide range of colours, are great accessories for festivals, boho chic looks and complimenting beachwear, or for giving as gifts to friends and teens.
What’s more, each colour represents a certain vibe – to remind yourself of a quality you wish to bring to your own life or a friend’s.
You can buy the bracelets online at loulasocial.com and now in some branches of Top Shop.
