Coppa Club, Brighton
Muddy says: this colourful, multi-tasking space is more than an all-day restaurant and bar – it’s a perfect shopping pit stop, place to meet friends or colleagues, or graze while you work.
Coppa Club has brought its all-day dining lounge concept to The Lanes, Brighton – one of its first premises outside London.
Its designed to have a similar feel to a members club – except it’s open free to all. Besides traditional restaurant tables there are plenty of colourful lounge areas inside and out for more casual lingering over a coffee, cocktail, light bites or sharing desserts. You really get that ‘all-day’ feel.
The menu is divided into mains and grills (like chops, steak and trout), pizza and pasta. Breakfast (weekdays) and brunch (weekends) are also big here, ranging from a stack of pancakes to a full skillet breakfast to a decadent Lobster Benedict!
There’s a great value children’s menu at £6.95 for three courses and a drink, and a decent gluten-free menu, which includes pasta.
Coppa Club works for a date or a meal with friends but it’s also perfect for leisurely brunching or cocktails, a shopping pit stop, a casual work meeting, solo dining, or a spot of work while grazing (or over a cheeky glass of wine). Look out too for a range of events coming up.
