The beautiful village of Oving, West Sussex, is hiding a secret and it’s three beautiful self-catered holidays homes on Madam Green Farm and Muddy is more than happy to share everything about this hidden gem with you!

Sitting pretty just 4 miles from Chichester and the infamous Goodwood Estate is Madam Green Farm that houses the properties all of which have their own personality which have been lovingly transformed into the dream home from home. They all have a fully equipped kitchen, BBQ area and private garden – did someone say ‘sundowner’?

First up are the Beach Huts, available all year round they sleep 4 and have 2 bedrooms with all the tricks up their sleeves for a perfect staycation, from a private garden and raised terrace, to the all-essential BBQ and veranda to enjoy it on. Inside it’s all about Scandi style with open plan living space, a wood burning stove as well as a king bedroom and twin room. For the environmentally-conscious among us (shouldn’t that be all of us then?) the beach huts are eco friendly. Round of applause here then.

The showstopper has to be the 18th Century Farm House that can be booked July-September and sleeps 12 across 6 bedrooms. Set across three floors, the interiors are a beautiful blend of traditional and modern. There’s also loads of seating and dining areas for any teens (or mums) who want/need to escape for a few hours. The private enclosed garden has a BBQ space and then leads onto the shared tennis court and heated indoor pool. Nice! It’s perfect for multi-generational get-togethers and escaping with large family groups, with plenty of space and generous bedrooms.

Another option is The Pear Store a charming annexe cottage attached to the main Farmhouse, you can book this all year round and sleeps 4 with 2 bedrooms with space for a travel cot. It again, has its own private garden and BBQ area and open plan living area which has a beautiful light and airy feel with a high ceiling creating that beautiful indoor/ outdoor vibe. An added extra is the mezzanine twin bedroom with a stair ladder up for extra character.

All properties allow access to the pool which is open from Easter to October but there are plenty of pursuits to take advantage of including the tennis court where guests can play and there’s the option to hire a tennis instructor if you so choose.  Your local will be The Gribble Inn, just a few hundred yards from the farm and the properties are close to the Blue Flag beaches of East & West Wittering. Hungry for more views? Then the South Downs National Park is very close by.
