The iconic aquarium, which this year celebrates it’s 150^th birthday, is an aquatic journey for all the family. Set under the original Victorian architecture from 1872, you will journey through years of history as you explore the world’s oldest aquarium and encounter over 5,000 mesmerising creatures.

Look out for dazzling scales, gigantic teeth and fantastic fins throughout and get closer to their wonderful creatures than ever before – you can even stroke a starfish!

In their state of the art Day & Night attraction you can experience the 24-hour wonder of a coral reef as it moves through a 750,000-litre display. Visit the famous underwater viewing area and tunnel, take a seat in the 250 seater auditorium and listen to a creature talk or even take a trip on the glass-bottom boat! There is so much to see and do all year round.
