This stunning restaurant, launched in December 2020, will become your first port of call for really immersing yourself in the best food and drink Sussex has to offer.
Housed in pretty Wadhurst within the heart of the Weald, Sussex Pass offers several menus. A small and focused menu showcases succulent cuts of meat, beautifully cooked and large fresh seafood platters, and seasonal vegetables and sides, all designed to be shared with friends and family.
The a la carte menu changes with the seasons and available produce and celebrates local game, fish, cheese and crops. Think refined pub dishes – top quality, natch. The cheese course is an experience in itself, all sourced from the local area and matched with Sussex wines and ports.
For a Sunday to remember, there’s a sensational brunch menu packed with goodies like baked gypsy eggs and mac ‘n’ cheese alongside traditional Sunday roasts served with duck fat roasties and all the trimmings. Paired with a bottomless Bloody Mary or classic cuvee mimosa, you’re in for a truly blissful time.
Sussex Pass was launched by Sam Maynard, formerly of Hotel du Vin and The Gallivant in Camber, alongside head chef Adam Sear, to support and uplift the local community hit so hard by the Covid lockdowns of 2020-21, and celebrate the seasonal offerings from this gorgeous part of the world.
The At Home service is also well worth a try for a much-deserved night off from cooking – choose from a range of menus and offerings and have your meal delivered to your door on Friday nights. Delivery across East Sussex and Kent locations.
