Which is exactly what the boutique vineyard and winery, the <a href="https://albourneestate.co.uk/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener" aria-label="Albourne Estate (opens in a new tab)">Albourne Estate</a> does. It may be petite, but it packs a powerful punch when it comes to producing, hosting and most importantly tasting.&nbsp;</p>



<p>The family-run business pours all its love and attention into their 44,000 vines across 30 acres and it shows in the taste of their sustainably produced wines and vermouth. Enjoying a glass, or if you’re anything like us, two, of wine is only the aperitif. The Albourne Estate invites you to sample a portfolio of entertainment with wine at the epicentre of each experience.&nbsp;</p>

<p>…The supper club that is. Picture this, wondering around the vines, with a glass of wine in hand drinking in unrivalled views of the South Downs. Sounds divine, right? Now add in delicious food from the venue’s favourite Sussex food producers to complete your night. And there you have the dream evening.&nbsp;</p>



<p><a href="https://albourneestate.co.uk/visit-us/friday-night-supper-club/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener" aria-label="Friday Night Supper Clubs (opens in a new tab)">Friday Night Supper Clubs</a> are are a pop up for summer held from 5pm- 9pm and are hosted at the vineyard’s Tasting Room where you can book a table or, at your request, there is the option to enjoy an indoor, or outdoor picnic &#8211; you simply need to bring your own blanket and tastebuds!&nbsp;</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Best kept private&nbsp;</strong></h2>



<p>For more intimate affairs there is also the option to arrange a private tasting and to host corporate events. The space is versatile and can offer a variety of table layouts, accommodating 45 seated and 100 standing.&nbsp;</p>



<p>The mezzanine level above the winery has floor-to-ceiling windows to create maximum space. And there is also a canvas tipi available for private parties that is close to the picturesque lake. And you can certainly make your entrance, the winding path up to the tasting room is littered with hanging lights creating a magical moment from start to finish.&nbsp;</p>

<p><a href="https://albourneestate.co.uk/visit-us/wine-tasting/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener" aria-label="Walk ins (opens in a new tab)">Walk ins</a> are warmly welcome at the Albourne Estate, for tastings, and of course shopping. On offer are wine tasting flights where you can enjoy a selection of the vineyard’s offerings, or opt for a glass, or bottle, of your favourite.&nbsp;</p>



<p>To accompany your tasting the perfect partners on offer are the Sussex Charcuterie and Cheese boards. And after all that exercise of lifting the wine glass to your lips, you can take a stroll around the vineyard on their self-guided trail.&nbsp;</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>A room with a view</strong></h2>



<p>You will be hard pushed to find a tasting room that frames the South Downs in this way, if we didn’t love the Albourne Estate’s wine so much we’d say it was worth a visit for the view alone! Bi-folding doors provide that indoor / outdoor vibe and are ideal for the temperamental British weather. </p>



<p>There is relaxed seating outside on the decking where you will want to take picture after picture and enjoy sip after sip of your wine&nbsp;</p>

<p>Don’t just take our word for it, you’ve got to sample for yourself! Albourne white wines include creations from grapes including Bacchus, Pinot Noir, Pinot Blanc and Chardonnay. They offer a Pino Noir and rose as well as sparkling including Blanc de Blanc and and English Vermouth.</p>
