Bolney Wine Estate
One of the oldest and most beautiful vineyards in England producing award-winning wine, perfect for a visit for a tasting, tour, a meal or to stock up on artisan goodies.

One of the oldest and most beautiful vineyards in England, Bolney began more than five decades ago when founders Janet and Rodney planted the first vines. It won its inaugural award back in 1985 and they’ve kept on coming even since. Fast forward to the present day, and it’s even producing estate-distilled gin and vermouth along alongside its celebrated sparkling and still wines.
A calm and picturesque oasis in the Sussex countryside, Bolney is well worth a visit for a tour and tasting or a table in its restaurant with views over the ripening vines. A lively programme of seasonal events runs to live music, sunset viewing, and blending workshops. You can buy Bolney wine along with local artisan produce from the shop while you’re there, too.
Looking to celebrate those everyday occasions? Whether you’re after a relaxed brunch or a lazy Sunday lunch, a special occasion picnic hamper or afternoon tea, Bolney has perfectly paired food and drink ideas, and can deliver direct to your door.
