The Bottle of Hastings, Hastings

A family-run wine shop offering tasting events, home delivery, and a seating area for the all-important sampling. They’ve lovingly selected over 300 wines from smaller vineyards each with their own delicious personality.

Is it a tasting room, wine shop or home delivery service? Well actually The Bottle of Hastings is all three. Anywhere that invites you to drink wine by the glass in store and leave with a bottle (or two, hmm make that three) and also delivers to the local East Sussex area will always be a Muddy favourite.

Perfectly located in central Hastings, in store (and on their website) you’re invited to browse through the bottles of over 300 wines. Their collection has been carefully curated to focus on wines from smaller, family-run vineyards and wineries across Europe who care about their product as well as the impact the process of making it has on the environment.

If you’re stuck in a Pinot Gris / Sauvignon Blanc rut, their experts will passionately guide you through things whatever your knowledge level. And for extra industry intel the shop regularly hosts wine tastings, guest wine makers and seasonal events.

The shop has a relaxed seating area where you can enjoy a glass (or if you’re anything like Muddy it’ll be more than just the one) and either leave with a bottle of your favourite or arrange a delivery (which is free across the East Sussex area). You can also order online and collect in store.

They pride themselves of providing variety and flavour without any fuss or pretense letting their wines do the talking while you focus on the best bit: the tasting!
