British Airways i360 viewing tower, Brighton
Enjoy breathtaking views of Brighton, the South Downs and the coast and sip Sussex sparkling on board this tourist attraction that’s taller than the London Eye.
For an unrivalled view of Brighton and the South Coast, not to mention some fairly memorable selfies, take a trip on the award-winning British Airways i360.
It’s the ideal tourist trip, family day out or even date. One word of warning – hope for good weather!
At 162m, this imposing tower on Brighton seafront is taller than its sister structure the London Eye. Designed by the same architects, the central donut-like pod has a distinctly London Eye feel to it and is a record-breaking feat of engineering – the i360 appears in the Guiness Book of Records as the world’s slenderest tower, and it’s also the world’s largest cable-car.
Once up there, assuming the air is clear, you’ll enjoy spectacular 360 degree views – all the way across to the Isle of Wight, and to the South Downs as well as the city of Brighton and Hove.
Sip sparkling wine from Sussex’s Nyetimber Vineyard at the Sky Bar on board the pod. The Beach Building below houses West Beach Bar & Kitchen for eating and drinking, as well as a gift shop and events space.
