PizzaExpress, East Grinstead

Located in the sweet spot of this pretty town, steps away from the historic Tudor architecture is this newly refurbished family favourite, there’s al fresco dining, two floors and an incredible menu.

Just off the historic high street lined with beautiful buildings dating back to Tudor times is a firm foodie favourite that delivers delicious dining every time whether it’s a family meal out, celebration with the girls, or intimate catch up.

For pizza with a view you can head outside where there’s a special seating area that looks over a pretty church. Or you can choose to dine in the large glass conservatory that lets in lots of light from the perfect ambience. The restaurant is spread over two floors to cater for the high demand of diners wanting to tuck into their dough balls.

Menu wise, you’ll of course find all of your PizzaExpress favourites, dough balls anyone? As well as vegan and gluten free options and all the mini versions on the kids menu including Bambinoccinos, (we see what they did there) as well as colouring pencils and paper.

You can walk off the carbs at nearby Wakehurst Kew’s wild botanic garden, one of the most biodiverse places on earth. Or keep it a little more local and window shop along the high street that has one of the longest continuous runs of Tudor architecture in the country. Impressive.
