Rock Rose Beauty was launched in 2018 following co-founder Lindsay Wright’s treatment for aggressive cancer. After chemotherapy her skin became problematic, and finding nothing nothing to suit her she decided to make her own.  

Whilst on holiday in Portugal she discovered an ancient healing herb, Cistus Ladanifer, known as Rock Rose whose essential oils have been used for centuries for their healing abilities. It also has a remarkable soothing effect on skin, brightening the complexion and reducing the appearance of fine lines.

Lindsay was impressed and along with Vanessa McNeilly and Raquel Le Bron set about creating a divine range of skin care products with Rock Rose at their heart. The threesome gifted samples to friends and were amazed at the positive feedback including reports that persistent skin complaint such as eczema and psoriasis had been improved.

Rock Rose packaging is chic recyclable black glass and tinware, and the products are all organic with no additives, using vitamin E as a preservative. They are made without water making the essential oils potent and a little goes a very long way.  

An affordable luxury Rock Rose is made in small batches on the south coast, from 100% natural ingredients and quality, organic essential oils such as evening primrose, calendula, jasmine and rose alongside the Cistus Ladanifer.
