Foodies take note! If you’ve not discovered it yet, go bag yourself a table at Sky Park Farm’s brilliant new gourmet café and restaurant, The Grazing Rooms.

Led by executive chef, Matt Crow, modern British dishes are served up in a contemporary, design-led space, with a relaxed vibe and plenty on the menu for all ages.

During the day, The Grazing Rooms makes an excellent pit stop for walkers, bikers and visitors to fuel-up, with breakfast and lunch served until 4pm. Think Sussex Charmer cheese souffle, venison sausage rolls and changing 30-mile specials made with fresh fish, meat and local veggies. Come the weekend, there’s a fantastic Sunday lunch featuring meat and veggie roasts. A dedicated ‘Little Fawns’ children’s menu ensures there’s something for everyone.

Make sure you’re first to book your space at the regular dinner series events at The Grazing Rooms, a smart, evening fine-dining affair. Five course tasting menus are paired with sparkling, red and white wines from award winning local suppliers. Word of warning though – tickets go fast, so keep your eye on the socials.

This being a working deer farm, venison is, of course, always an option on the menu – and it’s on sale in the new farm shop, deli and expert butchery, too, along with other brilliant local produce. There’s a 30-mile mission, with 40% of products and ingredients sourced within 30 miles and a further 40% from within Hampshire, Surrey and Sussex.

Along with fine wines and special occasion treats, there are some great everyday groceries on sale too, so bring a bag. And if you’re shopping with the littlies, grab a special children’s trolley and fill up a recyclable bottle with fresh milk – or milkshake. Well, why not?
