Over the course of the weekend guests are welcome to discover a host of sports, arts and nature activities. Every member of the family from toddlers to grandparents are included with the full focus on every personality connecting with nature.</p>

But you’ll also need to pay special attention to the diverse and rare habitat.</p>

There are seven races on the day to mark the Season Opener and best of all: everything to keep the little blighters busy. <p>The next few weeks are all about our furry friends at this seafront lido just down from Brighton. There are various session in the schedule offering 90 minutes of swimming fun for dogs. There are also hour-long quieter sessions for at 5pm for more mild mannered pups.&nbsp;There are even stewards who will supervise dogs while you get changed as well as a gently sloping splash pool with slide and the 40m heated pool for the adventure loving dog.</p>

<p>As dusk turns to into darkness head off on this guided walk and workshop as the reserves warden talks you around the wetland to nature hunt. On the walk you’ll watch for pipistrelles emerging in the low light and not only that, you’ll track five species of bats and learn their different calls. Awww. Wait, there’s more, things will end with a search for glow worms to really ensure you connect with nature. The path is a bit bumpy so wear flat shoes and if you’ve kids over 14 years you can bring (or even drag) them along too. &nbsp;</p>

<p>Take to the autumn skies well not literally, but you can have a proper peak at the action up above with the help of local astronomer Dr John Mason MBE. You’ll be able to see the skies above the South Downs National Park and hear all about the constellations, myths and legends of the stars, moon and the planets we can see. Bring binoculars and wrap up warm to fully enjoy the evening.&nbsp;</p>

What first peaked Muddy’s interest is the 13 local vineyards taking part including Tillingham and Gusbourne alongside local market stalls selling brews, premium meats, fresh vegetables, cheeses, and charcuterie.&nbsp;There’ll also be live music, poetry and cookery demonstrations.&nbsp;</p>

Under the stars you’ll watch a collection of short films featuring epic adventures, cultural stories and environmental issues from some of the world’s best filmmakers.
