Light up Trails, Cowdray Estate, Midhurst, 24 November – 1 January

The magnificent Cowdray Park has a sparkling Christmas light trail after dark in the grounds of the country estate in the heart of the South Downs National Park. Inspired by the theme ‘Joy’ the work created by a select band of international artists casts the landscape in a new light, illuminating the parkland giving a totally magical effect.

Rocky Horror, Theatre Royal Brighton, 29 November – 4 December

You can catch Strictly winner Ore Oduba when he extends his role as Brad Majors in the cult classic on stage at this historic Grade II listed theatre. Don your suspenders and lets do the timewarp again!

Festive Watercolour Workshop, Denmans, Arundel, 25-27 November

Join Sussex based watercolour artist and teacher Jo Dowers for a festive inspired creative watercolour workshop at Denmans Garden. Experiment with a variety of techniques in a relaxed, friendly environment. Suitable for all abilities.

City Lights, Glyndebourne, 19-20 November

A screening of Charlie Chaplin’s classic 1931 silent romantic comedy in the auditorium at Glyndebourne with live musical accompaniment from the orchestra. An undisputed masterpiece of cinema its Chaplin at his most hilarious, but also his most moving.

Eastbourne Beer Festival, Winter Gardens, 18-20 November

More than 90 cask ales, ciders, international bottled beers and wines plus entertainment and live music from acoustic to rhythm & blues at this mini festival. Cheers!

Winter Fair, South of England Showground, Ardingly, 20-21 November

Fill your boots with festive fun at this annual fair. Enjoy Santa’s grotto and a giant snow globe plus live music and a funfair. Workshops include wreath making, kids festive crafts and chocolate decoration sessions.

Alpine Night, The Tasting Rooms, East Grinstead, 24 November
