<p>Held on this beautiful boutique hotel’s terrace, this workshop is for all abilities surrounded by the Camber Sand dunes and the hotel’s pretty coastal garden inspiration is something you won’t be short of! The class will use everything from chalk pastels to acrylic and go through techniques including blind drawing, action painting and deep observation. Oh, and you can order wine while you ‘work’.</p>

As an added bonus you can also take part in pottery experiences.</p>

Then head straight to the news Dinky Dragons club for 2-4 year olds where, alongside a parent, they can join the museum’s resident dragon for an adventure! They’ll be everything to keep them focused and entertained for five minutes, and wait, even longer with storytelling, songs, &#8216;make and take&#8217; crafts, snacks, and plenty of free-range fun in the great outdoors.</p>

Armed with electronic detectors, you’ll listen for ultrasonic calls of hunting bats while walking the 4km course that’s a little uphill on the return but relatively gentle. Led by experienced surveyor, Tara Dawson, you’ll learn about the bat species that live in the gardens and know they’re not just for Halloween!&nbsp;</p>

Think of Loxwood Joust as an immersive <em>Game of Thrones </em>style experience – the PG version, of course<em>, </em>it’s an homage to ancient tradition and entertainment. There’s something for everyone, even reluctant teens, from medieval reenactments to archery lessons, scroll writing to silversmithing and singing lessons with the Mediaeval Baebes.
