<h2 class="wp-block-heading">THE LOWDOWN</h2>



<p>After the last two years hands up who&#8217;s desperate to get back to the festival scene? (me, me!). Born out of this isolation; <a href="https://goodvibrationssociety.com/">Good Vibrations Society</a> (Good Vibes to us), is an invite to experience a real community under the trees where festival go-ers can celebrate, create, learn and&nbsp;explore&nbsp;the natural world to finally connect in stunning surroundings&#8230; so what are you waiting for? </p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">WHAT? WHERE?</h2>



<p>A unique mix of amazing music, wellness and ecology, the Good Vibrations Society Festival is this year again held in magical Pippingford Park within the Ashdown Forest, East Sussex&nbsp;on 5 &#8211; 7 August 2022 (and the organisers guarantee sun apparently!). Well we live in hope.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">THE VIBE</h2>

<p>Forget standing in a soggy field with a warm overpriced beer, families can relax with live music and DJs throughout the day; wake up with wild swimming, enjoy free yoga, meditation, dance workshops and stimulate their minds with daily talks and conversation. For kids big and small there is innovative play space<strong> </strong>The Hive, to create, build and discover together and -get this &#8211; you can take the weight off your Birkenstocks in an on-site pub and swishy sit down restaurant. Where do we sign?</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">WHAT&#8217;S ON </h2>



<p>Well what isn&#8217;t? There is a dazzling line up of music from every genre including soul, jazz, funk, reggae, drum &amp; bass and world music. But Good Vibrations isn&#8217;t just about the tunes, with classes available including yoga, meditation and dance, workshops, nature walks and talks on ecology, nightly comedy and even the opportunity to wild swim in the tranquil lake. </p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>MUSIC</strong> HIGHLIGHTS</h2>

<p>For 2022 Good Vibrations has invited a selection of incredible musicians to perform with headliners <strong>Roy Ayers,</strong> (most famous for his global hit &#8211; ‘Everybody Loves The Sunshine’), pioneers of acid jazz <strong>The Brand New Heavies</strong> and teen Brit nominee <strong>Lola Young</strong>.  </p>



<p>Look out for <strong>Gentleman’s Dub Club</strong>; an 8-piece live dub/reggae/ska band whose stage shows have taken them around the world playing their infectious – dance floor ready – style. The lead singer Jonathan Scratchley is actually one of founders of the festival and grew up locally.&nbsp;&nbsp;<strong>Shola Ama</strong> will also be performing hits including &#8216;You Might Need Somebody&#8217;, her unique blend of RnB and Garage will certainly get flagging festival feet and bodies moving! </p>



<p>They&#8217;ve even planned a small after party venue amongst the trees where DJ’s will keep the vibe going once the main stage has closed each evening (but have you got the stamina?). </p>

<p><strong>WELLNESS</strong></p>



<p>Seeking the more cerebral?  Good Vibrations will offer a weekend of regeneration and deep connection to nature and each other; The Shala<strong> </strong>is an on-site haven dedicated to free yoga each morning curated by local studio – Yard Yoga. Workshops will be available each afternoon with talks throughout the day and music at night including Florida based Producer and DJ of spiritual, yoga inspired electronic music, Taz Rashid. </p>



<p>During the day and at night there will be guided walks across the forest, that will be teaming with flora and fauna with options for foraging. On-site there will also be the chance for wild swimming in the gorgeous lake to awaken the senses and connect you with the natural flow of the river Medway.  </p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">ECOLOGY</h2>



<p>Alongside the entertainment there will be talks on ecology, conservation, rewilding, and landscape recovery. There will be a special emphasis on how to reverse centuries of damage to ecosystems and the developing movement to join up fragile, isolated habitats across the landscape. </p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">CAMPING&nbsp;</h2>



<p>Camping is included with each ticket with additional reasonably priced &#8217;boutique&#8217; options provided by The Happy Glamper. Caravans and camper vans are also welcome, with paid options for electric hook-up, wifi, toilets and warm showers.&nbsp;If you&#8217;re a total wimp though local hotels are within a short drive but on-site is where the real magic happens!  </p>

<p>Good Vibrations Society is a safe, welcoming space for adults and children to play in the fields and through the trees. There will be family-friendly camping in both the boutique and main camping areas and engaging and Montessori inspired play opportunities during the day. </p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">SCOFF AND QUAFF</h2>



<p>No greasy burgers here, the event will be packed full of a wide variety of fresh and hearty food from vegan and veggie stalls. Plus there will be a  seated vegetarian restaurant run by The Seasons Kitchen from nearby Forest Row <em>and</em> a &#8216;local village pub&#8217; &#8211; The Dragonfly Inn! Sounds like the perfect summer weekend, now where did we put those tent pegs&#8230;..</p>
