<p>Somewhere between buttercup and saffron you’ll find Cowdray &#8216;Gold Cup&#8217; yellow, a shade that’s pure happiness. It’s the signature colour of the Cowdray estate, and as well as brightening its parasols and signage, they’ve had it spun into this sunny throw. Made from 100% pure wool, it’s handwoven in Denbigh and sure to lift moods and rooms alike.&nbsp;(£85)</p>

<p>These specially created throws are crafted from 70% British Alpaca yarn, the rest being responsibly sourced merino. The yarn is spun in Yorkshire and because its colour is unique to the herd’s coats at the time of shearing, no two batches are ever completely identical. Woven in Lancashire, the blankets are lightweight and lofty in feel, draping beautifully while also proving indulgently toasty. The palette&#8217;s equally soft: a sublimely subtle grey melange overlaid with a barely-there check in bitter chocolate.&nbsp;And yes, it&#8217;s absolutely good enough to wear. (£165) </p>

<p>The secret ingredient in this Swedish blanket is Gotland wool, from a breed of sheep famed for its long, silky wool, and making for an extra soft weave. A pumpkin spice palette (or should that be turmeric chai?), fluffy texture and Scandi-tested warmth combine in a hug of a blanket, available at this Muddy Awards-winning treasure trove.&nbsp;(£85) </p>
