Talk about gorgeous! This Estate houses an incredibly chic collection of three luxury properties available to rent (slash dream for a few days that you live there eternally). They each sit more than prettily on the 17-acre private grounds that has everything your heart desires to keep each member of your family and friends entertained.

No, Muddy isn’t just talking about Netflix. Wait for it – there’s an exceptionally long list of fun to be had: from fishing in the lake to open water swimming if you’re brrrrrave enough, a zipwire, tennis court and cricket strip, full sized outdoor football goals, table tennis and table football as well as a basketball net and, upon request, a paddle board!

But it doesn’t stop there. If you ask in advance, the owners will arrange for even more activities with guided yoga, massages, beauty treatments or a sound bath all for the taking. Don’t fancy cooking? No problem, the Estate’s private chefs can be delivered to your kitchen to dish up a feast!

Each property has distinctive characteristics, incredible interiors, and a private hot tub which means there truly is luxury every step of your stay.

If it’s chic charm you’re after then The Cottage with its oak beams and healthy serving of natural light is for you.  It sleeps up to five adults and three children across three bedrooms (two en-suite). There’s a gas BBQ and both indoor and outdoor dining areas whatever the weather, as well as a stunning. Inglenook fireplace during colder climes. Speaking of keeping warm, the ‘hilltop’ hot tub has the most photo-worthy views of the South Downs imaginable particularly in winter with red sunsets aplenty.

Alternatively, there’s the modern renovated ‘upside down’ Barn which sleeps eight adults and four children, across four bedrooms on the ground floor, and a gallery bedroom overlooking the first floor open-plan living space. Its private outdoor hot tub is encircled by trees and you’ll be able to enjoy a private performance from the orchestra of wildlife if you dip into it at dawn or dusk (before you hit those bubble jets)! It also has an open kitchen-dining-living area on the first floor with an open fire and the room opens out onto a balcony with dining and lounging options.

Then there’s the showstopper House which features grand rooms, gorgeous antique furniture and an enviable collection of contemporary art! In addition, there is a tremendous 14-metre indoor heated infinity pool, sauna and hot tub with music and mood lighting to suit. The House accommodates 12 adults and four children across six generously proportioned, unique bedrooms and, besides the indoor dining facilities, it has an elevated, beautiful terrace for dining and relaxing throughout the year (with shade provided in summer and heaters available during the cooler months).

The properties can be booked individually or, for a larger party, you don’t have to choose between them – and we’re not sure we could! The three properties combine to accommodate up to 25 adults and 11 children meaning the Honeybridge Estate is a great option for a larger, multigenerational gathering for a milestone celebration. 

Situated slightly north of the South Downs, it boasts some of the best views in West Sussex. There are seasonal fruits to pick and flavours to forage and when you need to put your feet up, some hammocks scattered around for a slice of serenity. There’s even a secret tree house, hidden in the bluebell wood – it’s a perfect hideout for kids.
